This game is for my friends and family in Cali. This guy looks just like someone we all know and love. I had no idea he worked for Disney or Rice Krispies. But you'll all get it right. Leave a comment with your best guess.

Our Cabin
"Thanksgiving" with Aunt Julie and Uncle Stephen
The whole morning felt like Thanksgiving, but it was December 20. I mentioned going to Walgreens, and Julie said, "Would they be open?" But I knew what she meant. I had gotten up at 5:00 to put a huge turkey in the oven that we had prepared Lucy and Ethel style the night before. We had mashed potatoes, corn, those crescent rolls that have now become a holiday staple. . . It felt like a holiday. Obviously we obsessed over the food. Note how many actual people earned a place in our photo documentation.

The Big Game
The big volleyball game in which the aunts battled it out took place last Friday.

The gym scared Paul at first.

Here are the aunts glaring menacingly at each other.

Here's them putting on a good front for the camera.

Paul was still scared.

Laura's 23 Gray; Jamie's the only Blue in the shot.

Aunt Jamie subbing out

Jamie's 43; Laura's 23 (center front of her side)
See you at the championship!

Where's Pauldo?
I hope you'll pardon Paul's absence in most of these, but I had to publicize our garden. Aunt Julie was here last weekend, and she put in these flowers for us. Paul loves sitting in the driveway in his highchair and watching me give them a drink. I know one is blurry, but I thought it still gives an idea of the big picture. Yesterday we spread some (a bunch of) Impatiens (thanks, Pete) seed in the front third. They look a lot like pansies, and the seeds were cheaper. We'll see how they do. The bottom picture, though it's not a great shot of Paul, does give you an idea what my new hair looks like.
