These pictures are all from June, 2010. Paul is still learning to be gentle with the baby, but he seems like he likes having a little brother, doesn't he?
Paul's long-awaited baby brother finally showed up, and . . . he can't play with anything. But that doesn't stop Paul from sharing various toys with him.
It's about time to fill in some gaps in the blog record here. I don't keep a baby book or any kind of scrapbook because I rely on electronic sources. So, here are some highlights briefly chronicled. We had a little boy in May. He showed up 3 weeks early and arrived on his Tia Teen's birthday. We had a great time in the Mexico City hospital, and the Goldfusses were very kind to watch Paul for us.
It was quite funny. He was having a ball. "I'm swimming, Mommy!"
For all the grandparents reading this, if you had been there, you would have laughed too. We're sorry. We could not resist the temptation to take a few pictures. He did receive a serious warning later about the dangers of ever doing that again without us around. I think he gets it.
Paul got a new train set when Grandmama and Grandpa came to visit. Actually, he got three trains and two tracks. Even with all the new trains, he gets creative trying to see how long a train he can create using his other cars.
He pretty much plays with it every waking moment that he can. Here he is squeezing in a few minutes before we left for church. This was his own track design.
